Trip Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu [1,338m/4,389ft].

Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport you will transfer to the hotel by our airport representative. After your freshness we will have talk about your trekking plan in the hotel or our office. You can ask your question about the trek. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2

Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

After your breakfast we will start sightseeing tour with our excellent tour guide. Including Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa, Monkey Temple(Swyambhunath Stupa), Kathmandu Durbar Squre, Patan Durbar Squre etc.
Day 3

Bus Ride: Kathmandu → Arughat

Ride time: 6-7 Hours
After your breakfast we will drive to Arughat by tourist bus. The road is bumpy and dusty, but the scenery is beautiful as we pass through small towns and villages along the way. Overnight at hotel/tea-house in Arughat.
Day 4

Trek: Arughat → Linding

Trek-time: 6-7 Hours
Today we trek along the Budhi Gandaki River, passing terraced fields, villages, waterfalls, and forests of Chilaune and Saal before reaching Liding, a riverside village. Overnight stay at a tea house in Liding.
Day 5

Trek: Liding → Machha Khola[930m/3,051ft]

Trek time: 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we trek about six hours to Machha Khola, passing forests, streams, villages, waterfalls, and the green valley of Lapu Besi, a village mainly inhabited by Mongolian people. Overnight stay at a tea house in Machha Khola.
Day 6

Trek: Machha Khola → Jagat [1,410m/4,625ft]

Trek time: 5-6 hours
Today we cross the Machha Khola and trek upstream past Khola Bensi and the hot springs of Tatopani. The trail is exposed in parts, leading through forest to Doban, then across a suspension bridge at Lauri before ascending to the fields of Jagat. Overnight stay at a tea house in Jagat.
Day 7

Trek: Jagat → Philim [1,700m/5,577ft]

Trek time: 6-7 hours
After taking early breakfast we continue our trip to Lakpa. We cross a suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki River before you arrive at Philim, a big village mostly populated by the Gurungs. From Philim you ascend a gradual uphill stopping for lunch at Ekle Bhatti. After reach at Lakpa we stay overnight in lodge/tea-house.
Day 8

Trek: Philim → Deng [1,870m/6,135ft]

Trek time: 7 hours
After breakfast, we trek to Deng along a mostly flat forest trail, crossing bridges and passing distant villages. Deng is known for its waterfall, fertile fields of potatoes, barley, and wheat, and its farming communities. Overnight stay in Deng.
Day 9

Trek: Deng → Namrung [2,630m/8,628ft].

Trek Time: 6-7 Hours
Today we start our trip to Namrung. In the beginning, we trek almost a plane leveled trail and then the way moves ascending all the way to Namrung throughout forest. After arrive at Namrung we stay overnight in lodge/guesthouse.
Day 10

Trek: Namrung → Lho-gaon [3,100m/10,170ft]

Trek time: 5-6 hours
Today we trek along a windy trail through the inner Himalayan range, with stunning views of Manaslu, Gorkha Himal, Rupinala Pass, Saula Himal, Lajing Peak, Dwijen Himal, and more. As we ascend, vegetation thins and we pass mani walls, chortens, prayer flags, and monasteries before reaching Lho Gaon. Overnight stay in a lodge/camp.
Day 11

Trek: Lho-gaon → Sama gaon [3,550m/11,646ft] and back to Gorakshep

Trek time: 4-5 hours
Today after having breakfast our trek moves towards Sama gaon by following the right bank of the stream, with views of Peak 29 ahead. As you continue on the main path we will arrives the fields of Sama Gaon. Then stay overnight in lodge/camp.
Day 12

Hike: Manaslu Base Camp [4.400m/14,435ft]

Trek time: 8-9 hours
Crossing the high field, we descend along the Burdin Khola toward Manaslu’s West Base Camp. From 4,150m, enjoy views of Manaslu to the southeast and Annapurna II to the southwest. After crossing the Dudh Koshi headwaters, the trail leads through rhododendron forests and a narrow valley to Karche, the highest cultivated land in the area. We then pass Tilje before reaching Dharapani, crossing the Marshyangdi River, and staying overnight in lodge/camp.
Day 13

Trek: Sama Gaon → Samdo [3,875m/12,713ft]

Trek time: 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we trek to Samdo along a desert trail and windy valley. Just 4 km from the Tibet border, Samdo offers excellent views of Mt. Manaslu, Samdo (Pang Phuchuli), Manaslu Glacier, Nagdi Chuli, Manaslu Icefall, Simnang Himal, and other majestic peaks. Overnight stay in camp.
Day 14

Trek: Samdo → Larkya La Phedi / Dharmashala [4,460m/14,632ft]

Trek time: 4-5 hours
After breakfast at Samdo, we trek along a rocky, zigzag trail to Larkya-La Phedi. On the way, we pass Larkya Bazaar, known for its seasonal fairs, and find a Dharmasala at Larkya-La Phedi. Overnight stay in lodge/camp.
Day 15

Trek: Larkya La Phedi/Dharmashala → Bhimthan via Larkya La pass

Trek time: 7-8 hours
After an early breakfast, we trek to Bimtang with a steep ascent to Larkya La along a windy, rocky trail. From the pass, enjoy views of Larkya Peak, Cheo Himal, Mt. Manaslu, Ratna Chuli, and other snow-covered mountains. We then descend steeply through rock, ice, and past icy lakes before reaching Bimtang, a broad valley with Mani walls and deserted houses. Overnight in lodge/camp.
Day 16

Trek: Bhimthang → Dharapani [1,860m/6,103ft]

Trek time: 4-5 hours
Crossing the high field, we descend along the Burdin Khola toward Manaslu’s West Base Camp. From 4,150m, enjoy views of Manaslu to the southeast and Annapurna II to the southwest. Day 17

Trek: Dharapani → Jagat [1,800m/5,905ft]

Trek time: 6-7 hours
Today we trek all the way over a downhill path along the bank of Marshyangdi and Dudh Koshi River. On the way, we hike throughout pleasant villages such as Tal, which is a beautiful village with an attractive waterfall. Finally, we come across Jagat, which is a stone village located on a ledge, that extends into the precipitous Marsyangdi valley. Stay overnight in lodge/camp.
Day 18

Trek: Jagat → Nagdi [850m/2,789ft]

Trek time: 4-5 hours
Today we descend from Jagat through the Marshyangdi Valley, crossing the river at Syange and walking along the flat Ghermu trail with views of green valleys and villages. After a short ascent to Bahundanda, we descend all the way to Nagdi for an overnight stay in camp.
Day 19

Trek: Nagdi → Besisahar [823m/2,700ft]

Trek time: 4-5 hours
After taking breakfast we start our trip along a flat leveled path all the way to Besishahar throughout villages such as Khudi, Bulbule and others. Our route cuts across terraces, ridges and sometimes you cross small rivers. Beshishahar is district headquarter of the Lamjung. Stay overnight at lodge/camp in Besishahar.
Day 20

Bus Ride: Besisahar → Kathmandu

Drive time: 7 hours
Today we drive back to Kayhmandu. It is a scenic drive on the way back to Kathmandu along the banks of the Marshyangdi and Trishuli rivers with marvelous views of green hills, mountains, farming terrace and colorful villages on both sides of road.
Day 21

Free day in Kathmandu

Today is a rest day in Kathmandu. You may enjoy shopping or take an optional mountain flight to Mt. Everest. In the evening, Mountain Nepal Trek will host a traditional Nepalese dinner with cultural performances at a popular local restaurant.
Day 22

Departure via Tribhuwan International Airport

Today marks your final day in Nepal. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey. We bid you farewell with warm wishes and hope to welcome you again for another adventure in the Himalayas.
